	David Osher Principle Investigator, Assistant Professor of Psychology Ph.D., Computational Neuroscience, Massachusetts Institute of Technology My research explores the relationship between brain connectivity, neural function, and behavior, through computational modeling. Connectivity is the primary constraint on the information available to a brain region, and so connectivity should be highly predictive of neural responses. I am primarily interested in attention and high-level visual perception, and I have demonstrated that structure-function models can predict how your brain will respond during a task, before you even do the task, using your connectivity patterns alone. 	Fiona Molloy Graduate Student B.S., Neuroscience, M.S., Applied Statistics, The Ohio State University I’m a fifth year graduate student pursuing a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, co-advised by Dr. David Osher and Dr. Zeynep Saygin. I received a BS in neuroscience from OSU in 2018. I am interested in using computational modeling and neuroimaging to understand how individual differences in the brain can shape behavior and change from infancy to adulthood. I am particularly interested in the neural mechanisms underlying habituation and cognitive control. Currently, I am working with Dr. Osher to find the underlying structure and organization of functional networks in the brain, while accounting for individual variability in the mapping of these functional networks. 	Yuxuan Zeng Graduate Student B.S., Neuroscience, Sichuan University; M.S., Cognitive Neuroscience, University of Birmingham I am a second year graduate student in the Cognitive Neuroscience program supervised by Dr. David Osher. Before joining OSU, I received my BS in biological science in 2018 and MS in cognitive neuroscience in 2019. I am interested in the neural mechanisms underlying high-level visual perception. More specifically, I am interested in using brain imaging and computational modeling to understand the neural circuitry responsible for object perception and visual categorization.
	Victoria Diedrichs Graduate Student B.A., Grinnell College; M.A., Speech, Language, and Hearing Science, Temple University; CCC-SLP I am a fifth year graduate student in Speech and Hearing Sciences, advised by Drs. Stacy Harnish and David Osher. My long-term research interests are to better understand how the brain recovers and reorganizes in those with acquired neurogenic communication impairments, such as aphasia, as well as how recovery can be facilitated using techniques like non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) to achieve improved rehabilitation outcomes. I am especially interested in exploring how the neural correlates of recovery and reorganization may differ depending on lesion location and severity as well as identifying optimal behavioral therapies to administer in conjunction with NIBS, to best facilitate neuroplasticity. 	Jess Timog Undergraduate Student I am a fourth year speech and hearing science student at OSU. I am a CCBBI ADNiR scholar, advised by Drs. Stacy Harnish and David Osher. My research interest is in neuroimaging of stroke and aphasia patients and other language disorders. I am a big plant mom, love thrifting, and leading the filipino cultural org on campus!
